7.  “The Show Must Go On.”  This is my latest newspaper column and it describes an incident that happened to me during the last few days of my undergraduate college career.  All I had left was one more final exam and I'd be done.   I wouldn't believe this story if I hadn't lived through it.

6.  “The Pen as a Sword.”  This is a recent newspaper column that I wrote about the power of comedy writing.      https://johndossi.com/files/1290926/the-pen-as-a-sword.docx

5. “ Life in a Parking Lot.”  This essay was originally written as a submission to my university magazine and tells the story of how I lived in the back of my old truck during my senior year at Loyola.  I can't say for certain that I was the first person to manage this feat at LU, but I've never heard of anyone else giving it a try back in the early 70s.       /files/1273774/Life in a Parking Lot

4. “Memories” This article, published in 2018, was written at my son's request.  As a newspaper columnist, he generally writes one every week, but since he would be leaving with his new bride on their honeymoon, he asked that I help out and churn out a couple to be used in his absence.  This is the first one that I wrote.  /files/1292701/Memories

3.  “It's Getting Ugly Out There” is a newspaper column that was published recently.  In it, I make my opinion on a matter perfectly clear.

2. “The Road of Life” is a newspaper column that talks about the importance of our family history and its connection to an old truck.
